Not many studios are based in 17th
century Northumbrian country houses
where the plotting of the 1715 Jacobite
rebellion took place.The beheaded 3rd
Earl of Derwentwater was a frequent
visitor to his cousins here and some
people say still is. News of his defeat
at the battle of Preston and his execution
on Tower Hill reached here by fast horses
struggling along dangerous muddy tracks,
his followers hiding in the many secret
rooms and passges. Communication is
a lot faster now however, gone are the
coach and horses and in their place
is the very latest digital imaging and
communication facilities.
